Türkçe özet (KVKK): Gelsene, hesabını oluşturmak ve spor aktivitelerinde
eşleştirme yapmak için e-posta, ad ve paylaşmayı seçtiğin profil bilgilerini işler.
Verilerin satılmaz. Konum gizliliği tasarım gereğidir: rotaların tam hali yalnızca
kabul ettiğin kişilere görünür. Hesabını uygulama içinden silebilirsin; KVKK md. 11
kapsamındaki taleplerin için aşağıdaki iletişim adresini kullanabilirsin.
What we collect
- Account: email address, name, and optionally gender, home area, bio, profile photo, gear list.
- Sport profile: your sports, level and self-declared pace.
- Activity data you create: posted activities (including routes you upload or draw), join requests, group chat messages, follows, attendance marks, reports and blocks.
- Technical: standard server logs processed by our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare). We use no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies. Your browser stores only a sign-in token.
Why we use it
- To run the service: showing activities, matching crossing routes, join requests, chat.
- Safety and moderation: reports, blocks, reliability marks.
- Service emails: sign-in codes and notifications about your activities.
Legal bases under KVKK/GDPR: performance of the service you signed up for, our legitimate interest in keeping the community safe, and your consent for optional profile fields.
Location privacy, by design
Exact routes are shown only to the host and accepted participants. Everyone else sees a coarse ~5 km corridor. Meeting areas are neighborhoods, not addresses. Your home area is free text you choose.
Who sees what, who we share with
- Other users see what you choose to publish: your profile and your activities, according to the audience you pick per post (everyone / followers / matches-only / women-only).
- Processors: Cloudflare (hosting, storage), Resend (email delivery), Open-Meteo (weather; receives only the approximate activity area coordinates, never your identity), OpenStreetMap (map tiles; your IP reaches their servers when maps load). Strava connection, when available, happens only if you explicitly link your account.
- We never sell personal data. No advertising partners.
Retention & deletion
Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account in Profile → Delete my account: your profile is anonymized, your open activities are cancelled, pending requests are withdrawn and your sessions end. Chat messages you sent remain visible as "Deleted user" so conversations stay coherent for others.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data. Most of this you can do in the app; for anything else contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Age
Gelsene is for users 18 and older, since it involves meeting people in person.
